Users


This article will explain how to handle the Users in your system on the Cyrano website..

 

Accessing Users

To view the users in your system click on the Audience tab on the far left of your screen. From there click on the Users tab. This will bring you to the User grid.

User Information

The user grid is a layout of all the users in your system with some of their information displayed.

  • Name
  • Email
  • Title/Position (CEO,COO,Nurse,etc.)
  • Department (HR,IT,etc.)
  • Direct Manager
  • Last Login Date
  • Role(s)
  • Last Updated

Users can be sorted by and searched through these parameters.

Adding/Editing Users 

To edit a user, click the edit icon to the left of the user’s name. This will take you to the user’s information page. This contains more detailed information. In addition to the categories mentioned above there are fields for:

  • Profile Picture
  • Cell Phone
  • Signature
  • Time Zone
  • Work Phone
  • Start Date

Additionally, you can also edit Subscribing Channels (user will receive videos in these channels), Publishing Channels (user is allowed to publish to these channels), and Roles. For more information on channels, see Channels.

To add a new user(s) you can use two methods. For individuals, click the User button in the top right corner of the screen. This will bring up a blank user profile. Fields with a * are required but all others you can fill out then or come back and edit the user later. If you have a large number of new users to add, it is recommended that you use the bulk upload feature. For more information on bulk uploading users, visit our Bulk Upload Users page.
